    From December 16 to 18, 2024, the "9th China International Sand and Gravel Aggregate Conference" hosted by the China Sand and Gravel Association was held as scheduled in Chongqing, China.

    As the industry's most eye-catching annual event, the conference was themed "Utilizing Resources for Innovative Development." Over a thousand people attended the conference, including leaders from Chinese ministries and provincial and municipal government departments, domestic and international industry experts and scholars, representatives from industry associations at all levels, representatives from the global sand and gravel industry and upstream and downstream companies, and media representatives. The event discussed and exchanged new technologies and concepts in the industry, offering suggestions and advice for promoting the healthy, orderly, and high-quality development of the sand and gravel aggregate industry.

Hu Youyi, President of the China Sand and Gravel Association, delivered a keynote speech titled "Making the Most of Everything, Sustainable Development: Comprehensive Utilization of Solid Waste and Ecological Restoration at Home and Abroad." The speech emphasized that effective solid waste utilization and environmental restoration require a comprehensive integration of "conceptual leadership, policy promotion, technological implementation, legal regulations, and practical application," all of which are mutually reinforcing and indispensable.

Guangzhou Longyue, as a member of the China Sand and Gravel Association, actively participated in this meeting. The company's chairman Luo Yikun, key account manager Luo Weibin, project technical consultant Bi Rongda and others attended the meeting to discuss future development directions with experts and leaders.
